Jamie Lidell’s Compass out May 18

Jamie Lidell’s third full-length album, Compass, is set to drop May 18, 2010 from Warp Records.  Recorded in Los Angeles, New York, and Canada, and with help from Beck, Feist, Gonzales, Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, and Pat Sansone of Wilco, Compass promises album to be Lidell’s most eclectic album yet.   Read more…

Scene: A balmy and breezeless summer night at a minor league baseball stadium on the rim of the Delaware River. There are tendrils of happy smoke carrying the smell of hot dogs on makeshift grills.
