One-man band Toro y Moi got off to a late start over at Austinist’s Gonna Gonna Get Down V. Doing an impressive job of manually sequencing and looping all of his background music on the fly, Toro y Moi was dreamy, shoegaze fun. Perhaps a little too downtempo for a crowd on a warm Austin afternoon, but the electronics were expertly textured and paced.

I Guess I’m Floating has announced the details of its SXSW party called Floating Fest 2K10. The lineup will feature performances by Oh No Oh My, Toro Y Moi, The Ruby Suns and more.
