Sasquatch! Music Festival 2014 Cancels Entire Second Weekend

Sasquatch! Music Festival tried the idea of a second weekend in 2014, but due to a lack of ticket sales, has had to cancel it. The concept was innovative; whereas most second weekends of music festivals immediately follow the first weekend, Sasquatch! was planning to have its first shows over Memorial Day Weekend and its second group of shows over Fourth of July Weekend.

Sasquatch! Music Festival 2013: Day 4

The differences between day one and day four of Sasquatch! are physically evident on the attendees. People of day one are giddy, buzzing with excitement. People of day four have been partying and listening to music in the beating down sun over a long weekend and look exhausted. The overall vibe of day four resembled a lazy Sunday. There was a steady rainfall for most of the day, prompting many campers to enter the festival late. Still, the last day is always full of mixed emotions. You are excited to go home and take a shower and sleep in a real bed, yet sad because once again this wonderful Memorial Day weekend has to come to an end.

Sasquatch! Music Festival 2013: Day 2

Indians started the day on the Yeti Stage, the smallest but most intimate stage. Indians creates synth-folk on the softer side of the spectrum. Frontman Sven Lkke Elze plays synth and sings while two females operate the keyboard and samples. The trio wash together blissful sound effects and looping vocals by constantly tinkering with knobs, levers and levels. It is shoegaze for the electronic generation. Their music is ideal for laying in the sun and encompassing life without stress.

Sasquatch! Music Festival 2013: Day 1

Sasquatch Music Festival, at the beautiful Gorge in George Washington is a wonderful commitment. The ticket price can be considered steep but it is well worth it for 4 full days of nonstop music and entertainment. Sasquatch has five different stages including the El Chupacabra dance tent, the Honda Bigfoot Stage and the spectacle of the main stage overlooking the great Columbia River. There are over 120 different bands on the schedule covering almost every genre of music.

Matt & Kim Announce ‘Sidewalks’ US Tour Including Sasquatch & Bonnaroo

10th Anniversary Sasquatch! Music Festival: New Details

The 10th annual Sasquatch! Music Festival will be taking place Memorial Day weekend 2011 (May 27-30) at The Gorge in Quincy, Washington.  To celebrate a decade worth of festivities, an extra day has been added.  And just in time for the holidays, an exclusive discounted ticket package will be available to purchase starting this Saturday, November 20.  More details after the jump.
