We’re used to bands calling it quits, reuniting, calling it quits again, reuniting…it’s a bit of a treadmill, and it happens all the time. However, Jane’s Addiction may just take the speed record. Two weeks after calling it quits, the band’s back in action. See, it’s this kind of nonsense that made Motley Crue decide to sign a friggin’ cessation agreement so people would actually take the split seriously.

Rockstar Energy Drink’s Uproar Festival combines all the latest and greatest of alternative rock bands all slamming across some of America and Canada’s greatest outdoor venues. In 2011, the likes of Seether, Three Days Grace and Avenged Sevenfold took the major part of the bill. 2012’s lineup promised an equally large main stage crew with Staind, Godsmack and Shinedown. Jane’s Addiction & Thenewno2 @ The Wiltern 10/27

On Saturday, October 27, Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and the rest of Jane’s Addiction will conclude their current tour with a headlining gig at the Wiltern. Opening the night will be Thenewno2, the experimental/indie act fronted by Dhani Harrison (George’s son).

Jane’s Addiction are touring in support of 2011’s The Great Escape Artist, while Thenewno2 recently released their new album, Thefearofmissingout back on July 31st.

Tickets for this Wiltern show are on sale this Friday at 10 AM via Live Nation, and cost $62.50-$84.20 after fees.
