It’s been a couple of years since we last heard from Girl Talk. The mashup maestro sentenced himself to a few years hard time on the touring circuit – it’s amazing the man hasn’t drowned in champagne yet, and even more amazing that he’s continued to release albums. Next on the list? Broken Ankles, a collaborative EP with veteran rapper Freeway.

Kate Nash Announces North American Spring Tour Dates, ‘Girl Talk’ LP and ‘Because I Am A Girl’ Initiative
March will be a big month for musician Kate Nash. Not only does she release her long awaited LP titled ‘Girl Talk’ (as mxdwn reported, it was available for pre-order in November) March 6, but she also begins her tour March 12. In addition to musical achievements, Nash is also joining forces with the ‘Because I am a Girl’ charity, which aims to help girls in developing countries.

The Austin-based music festival Fun Fun Fun Fest may have just announced their best lineup yet. Last year’s festival boasted the impressive array of Slayer, Passion Pit and Public Enemy, this year’s bill tops out with the reunited Run-D.M.C., Santigold, Refused, Public Image LTD and a whole slew more.
