Electric Zoo 2012, one of New York’s premiere electronic music festivals, has just announced phase 1 of their artist lineup. The key headliners are Tiesto and David Guetta, although there are a ton of noteworthy artists included in the lineup. The festival takes place on Labor Day Weekend, August 31-September 2, at Randall’s island Park, NYC.

The fourteenth annual Ultra Music Festival is set to take place March 23-25 in downtown Miami at Bayfront Park. The festival will mark the culmination of Miami Music Week. World famous headliners include Tiësto and Kraftwerk on Friday, Justice and Avicii on Saturday, and David Guetta and Armin Van Buuren on Sunday.

DJ-Producer David Guetta, has hired a Pentagon Investigator in hopes to find the hacker, who stole his new single and leaked it online. The Grammy-Award winning artist was forced to release the new track, “Where Them Girls At? featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj a week early, due to the recent incident. Guetta has fell victim to unauthorized leaks in the past, but felt it was neccessary to take further action this time.

Champions of the modern big-budget video game, Activision took over the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles for a preview event of epic proportions. With little signage and indication of exactly what would take place, throngs of lucky invitees piled into Downtown’s STAPLES Center, greeted by the most unusual phenomenon imaginable at the venue–free food and beer at every single corner the building. That’s right, for whatever reason all the typically overpriced, concert junk food and beverages were entirely on the house. As the crowd tried to make sense of the situation, security kept all gates into the main floor blocked. What was unmistakeably Eminem could be heard on the other side of the curtain.
