OMG this lineup! The last time I saw the Black Keys was during their ACL aftershow at Stubbs in ‘10. It was sold out, and completely packed. Bodies stuffed onto every little railing, and corner. These guys are amazing. Mostly, it’s just Dan, and Patrick up there, sometimes, there’s a small backing band. So much energy! Patrick kills those drums, and Dan’s voice pretty much sounds like sex. Just saying because it really does. If you haven’t picked up their newest album El Camino, you must! One of my favs of ‘11, can’t wait to hear what it sounds like live! Plus, Arctic Monkeys too?! I haven’t seen them live, but I’ve yet to hear anything disappointing about their live shows, their songs rock, and also, Alex Turner. Need I say more? Man, that is going to be one killer aural experience right there, hearing these two bands back to back. Pretty much, you must go. I’m marking your calender for you right now, it’s a done deal. Make sure you snag tickets on Friday, this is sure to sell out.
