Stones Fest L.A. – 5/30 @ The Fonda Theatre

Stones Fest L.A. is set for May 30th at the Fonda Theatre.

The event, put on by the Best Fest and sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey, Stones Fest will feature an all-star lineup of musicians honoring the Rolling Stones. Last year’s Petty Fest was a great success on both coasts, and they’re banking on this one being another home run.

Here’s the slate of scheduled performers, as per the press release:

Confirmed performers include: Phosphorescent, Butch Walker, Cyle Barnes of The Weeks, Juliette Lewis, Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte, Michelle Branch, Ethan Miller, Danny Masterson & Adam Busch, Matt Sorum & Ace Harper, Ewan Currie of The Sheepdogs, Evan Dando, Greg Dulli, Jesse Malin,Ruby Amanfu, Members of Eagles Of Death Metal, Jamie Arentzen of American Hi-Fi, Michael Peña, Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara, Josh Lattanzi of The Candles, Soko, Chuck Prophet, Catherine Pierce, Dakota Johnson & Ruby Stewart,  The Uptown Horns and surprise guests.

Tickets for the show are on sale now and cost $33.15 – and 100% of proceeds go directly to Sweet Relief and the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. You have to go now, huh?

KCRW Presents Make Music Pasadena – June 1 in Downtown Pasadena

On Saturday, June 1st, this year’s Make Music Pasadena Festival will hitdowntown Pasadena for a day of music, entertainment, and fun – and a lineup that includes Tanlines, Yacht, We Are Scientists, Robert DeLong, Superhumanoids, Hunter Hunted, Robert Francis, and many more.

Oh, and they’ll be announcing a ’special guest headliner TBA’ sometime toward the end of May.

It’s all FREE, too! There’s no excuse to not be there.

Vampire Weekend will return to Los Angeles on Saturday, September 28th for a headlining gig at the Hollywood Bowl. Opening the show will be Beirut, which should make for a pretty enjoyable evening under the Bowl’s lights.

The NYC-based indie/pop band will be touring in support of their upcoming album, Modern Vampires of the City.
