The Roots Score Soundtrack to “Night Catches Us”

Apparently the Roots have nothing but time on their hands because between touring, recording two recent albums and appearing nightly on Jimmy Fallon, they’ve just finished scoring a soundtrack to a new indie film called “Night Catches Us.”  The film takes place in Philadelphia (their hometown) in the 1970s and stars Anthony Mackie, Tariq Trotter and Kerry Washington.  Check out the trailer and poster after the jump.
