The dance duo Orbital, known for their live performances, is back to play for a total of 9 festivals, including Coachella and Ultra-Fest. The set will include their first new single in five years, “Don’t Stop Me,” but the Hartnoll brothers have no intentions of putting out a new album. Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse has been pronounced dead, according to an article in Brooklyn Vegan via a report in Rolling Stone. His family released a statement regarding his suicide, “It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and family member, Mark Linkous took his own life today. Norway’s Serena-Maneesh is going on tour with their second album, “S-M 2: Abyss In B Minor.” The popularity of the band escalated after an enthusiastic review in Pitchfork generated a word of mouth campaign in 2005. This is album is their first release after signing with the label 4AD. According to their press release, they recorded the album in a cave on the outskirts of Oslo, 2008.
