Sasquatch! Music Festival Lineup Announced for Memorial Day Weekend

With headliners Pavement, Massive Attack, and My Morning Jacket, the 2010 Sasquatch! Music Festival at The Gorge will be held over Memorial Day weekend, May 29-31.  Returning to The Gorge in Quincy, WA, festival tickets go on sale Saturday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. PST via Ticketmaster.com and sasquatchfestival.com. Hybrid set to Disappear Here on March 29

With the addition of a third member, singer/songwriter Charlotte James, to join founders Chris Healings and Mike Truman, Hybrid is set to release their fourth studio album, Disappear Here, on March 29 via Distinctive Records.  Including pounding live drums, layers of electric guitars, sweeping strings by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, bass beats by Tim Hutton (Ian Brown, The Prodigy), and triumphant choruses, this album, Hybrid will be embarking on a full live tour this summer in support of Disappear Here. The Sword Return to Studio With Producer Matt Bayles

As an epic follow-up to their first two albums, Age of Winters and Gods of the Earth, The Sword return to the studio with the help of producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis, Minus the Bear) and Kemado Records.  After touring with Metallica over the course of 2008 and 2009, Bayles is the first producer to be involved with an album by The Sword.

The Sword will also be opening for Motorhead on March 16 at Stubbs in Austin, TX.

Cannibal Corpse Hit the Road on The Evisceration Plague Tour

Jamie Lidell’s Compass out May 18

Jamie Lidell’s third full-length album, Compass, is set to drop May 18, 2010 from Warp Records.  Recorded in Los Angeles, New York, and Canada, and with help from Beck, Feist, Gonzales, Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, and Pat Sansone of Wilco, Compass promises album to be Lidell’s most eclectic album yet.   Read more…

Bad Lieutenant’s U.S. Concert Debut + Coachella

Preservation Hall Jazz Band Joins My Morning Jacket On Tour

Sia Kicks Off “The We Meaning You” Tour in April
