With the addition of a third member, singer/songwriter Charlotte James, to join founders Chris Healings and Mike Truman, Hybrid is set to release their fourth studio album, Disappear Here, on March 29 via Distinctive Records. Including pounding live drums, layers of electric guitars, sweeping strings by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, bass beats by Tim Hutton (Ian Brown, The Prodigy), and triumphant choruses, this album, Hybrid will be embarking on a full live tour this summer in support of Disappear Here. As an epic follow-up to their first two albums, Age of Winters and Gods of the Earth, The Sword return to the studio with the help of producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis, Minus the Bear) and Kemado Records. After touring with Metallica over the course of 2008 and 2009, Bayles is the first producer to be involved with an album by The Sword.
The Sword will also be opening for Motorhead on March 16 at Stubbs in Austin, TX.

Bad Lieutenant, New Order’s Bernard Sumner’s project formed in 2007, has been added to the 2010 Coachella line-up for Saturday, April 17. With three additional American dates, this is Bad Lieutenant’s U.S. debut.
