Communion Presents 2012 The Austin to Boston Tour Kicks off at SXSW 2012

Communion recently announced that they would be invading the US again this spring for The Austin to Boston Tour, featuring Ben Howard, The Staves, Nathaniel Ratecliff and Bear’s Den. The tour begins March 15 at Austin’s SXSW 2012 and follows with a string of shows across the south and up the east coast before ending March 31 in Boston, MA at the Berklee College of Music. SBTRKT Announce Spring 2012 Tour Dates and SXSW Performances

London electronic producer SBTRKT has announced a string of spring tour dates in support of his debut self-titled album, which was released last year on Young Turks. AKA Aaron Jerome, the producer will be touring alongside his main collaborator and contributor Sampha under the name SBTRKT LIVE. The pair will be hitting the SXSW Festival before a March 21 date in Nashville and ending on April 21 at Coachella. Read more…

Screaming Females Announce New Album Ugly For April 2012 Release

New Jersey punk trio Screaming Females have announced a release date for their fifth studio effort, entitled Ugly and due out on Don Giovanni Records April 3. The album’s first single, “It Means Nothing”, will be released February 11 at the Don Giovanni Records Showcase being held in Brooklyn. Following this showcase will be a week-long tour of free record store shows in support of Ugly, beginning at the Music Hall of Williamsburg February 11 and ending February 19 at Chi-towns Permanent Records.
