It’s been over seven years now since we started mxdwn. In the beginning, it just simply felt like it had to be done. We had little more than aspirations and big dreams. Now, seven years later, it was time for a massive change. What you see here is mxdwn, redefined. This new presentation you’re looking at represents a philosophical simplification of all that we’ve done in our history: to bring you the best in music news, reviews, concert coverage, photos and editorials, without the fluff that bogs down most music journalism. We hope that this new form helps you to better find and use mxdwn to discover all that matters in music.

And, this is the first of many changes to come. Expect new features and open dialog with our readers, as well as many suprises…
