Blabbermouth reports Black Sabbath’s guitarist Tony Iommi and Queen’s guitarist Brian May have been quietly working on a collaborative album. The process started when May visited Iommi’s personal recording studio and realized how much unused Sabbath material Iommi has. May states he wants to make an album where the fans could build their own songs out of all the unused material. May states:

“I thought it would be great to make a compilation out of them … The idea was to put all these riffs out in some form so that people could build their own songs from them. You could make your own music with Tony Iommi on guitar!”

This is certainly a creative and innovative idea from two classic rock legends. We will continue to follow this story as it develops.
