February 13th

Austin Music Hall

Doors @ 7

$52 tickets

In his decades of musicianship, Morrissey has been a key influence in the shaping of modern indie rock. Whether referencing his time in The Smiths or beyond as a solo artist, his voice is instantly recognizable. At some point, we’ve all sung along with the woes of returning from the dance floor at the club broken hearted, or have appreciated the dark life lesson satires in his lyrics. Morrissey just gets you. He can have the staff of the Colbert Report go veg for the day, or walk off the stage at Coachella for reasons of personal conviction, and all 0f the above is quite alright, because frankly,¬†Moz does what Moz wants, and it needs no questioning because¬†it comes from this man. With such an expansive catalog, it’s always interesting to find what makes it on the setlist when spending an evening getting your heartstrings pulled with Morrissey.
