The Roots MC Black Thought and his hometown charity organization the GrassROOTS Community Foundation are hosting their third annual Lets Move It Philly benefit concert. Tariq Trotter, aka Black Thought, will be bringing together some of the best names from the hip hop community to the legendary Sigma Sound Studios on February 16th for the event. This year’s message behind the benefit concert is to create a “call-to-action to ┬ámusicians, artists, athletes and industry friends to utilize their collective voices to bring attention to Philadelphia’s disadvantaged girls and women”. Proceeds from the show will go towards the GrassRoots Foundation and their push to help better our communities. This is a night not to be missed!
