John Cale to Perform at the Brooklyn Academy of Music

Following his performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, John Cale is performing at the Brooklyn Academy of Music for Wednesday, January 16 to Saturday, January 19. In the January 16 show entitled Life Along the Borderline, he will be paying tribute to Velvet Underground vocalist Nico with guest performances by Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, Magnetic Fields, Sharon Van Etten, Yeasayer, peaches, Joan As Police Women, Nick Franglen (Lemon Jelly, Blacksand), Meshell Ndegeocello, Mercury Rev, Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs, Gutter Twins, Twilight Singer) and the Kills’ Alison Mosshart. The January 18 and 19 show will feature Cale performing his classic album, Paris 1919, with the Wordless Music Orchestra.
