Faith No More frontman claims the reunion may be over.

Multi-band instrumentalist and singer Mike Patton has his name in more musical credits than most people could dream of. Lately he has been touring with Tomahawk and singing with a reunited Faith No More. In an interview with The Believer Patton spoke about the future of Faith No More. In the interview he was ambiguous of whether their reunion was complete and expressed a concern of overstaying their welcome. He said of the reunion:

“It’s sort of petered out. We’re also maybe a little too conscious for our own good. Meaning there’s a lineage of bands that maybe did some nice things and then needed the cash and got back together and basically just sprayed diarrhea over their entire body of work. We’re very worried about that. We don’t want to overdo it.”

While this may be disappointing news for some, you can always expect Patton to be working on something.
