Alt-rockers Pulp and LCD Soundsystem idea man James Murphy have joined forces to bring you their belated but much-welcome Christmas gift, “After You.” Hear the jaunty disco collab for yourself via Consequence of Sound.
First shelved as an unfinished demo for more than a decade, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker elected to resurrect the We Love Life-era song aboard the S.S. Coachella, where the Sheffield native found a musical shipmate in who else but James Murphy. Momentously, “After You” also marks Jarvis and Pulp’s first new studio work as a band in over 10 years.
