Sigur Ros @ Bill Graham Civic Center 4/27
December 22nd, 2012

Icelandic band Sigur Ros will be passing through San Francisco on April 27th, 2013 with a brand new live show. It will feature new material as well as an 11-piece live band. Around since 1994 but rising to popularity in the United States in 2007, Sigur Ros plays powerful ambient/post-rock music with noticeable classical and minimalist elements. Frontman Jonsi Birgisson’s falsetto is transcendent and emotional. Sigur Ros plays one of the most moving live shows out there – it is extraordinary and worth the price of Bill Graham tickets. Lower priced tickets are sure to sell out so get them early. U.S. ticket holders will receive a free digital download of a new 3-track EP on March 22nd.
