Watch: Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear Perform “Cut Me Some Slack” at 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert
December 13th, 2012
Last night, Sir Paul McCartney joined the surviving members of Nirvana on stage for the 12-12-12 Sandy Benefit at Madison Square Garden. Macca served as front man for a performance of new song, “Cut Me Some Slack”, written with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear.
After the show, Grohl shared that the foursome wrote and recorded “Cut Me Some Slack” together about 6 months ago and that no one had ever heard it before. Novoselic indicated that the song would be used for an upcoming film project of Grohl’s called Sound City.
