Watch: The Knife Announce New Upcoming Album “Shaking the Habitual,” Teaser Video Released
December 12th, 2012
Swedish electronic duo The Knife has announced its fourth proper LP, Shaking the Habitual, breaking an almost seven-year hiatus since the group’s 2006 release, Shout. In conjunction, a scarcely-detailed teaser video, which features the brother–sister pair swinging on an ominous playground, has also been unveiled.

Though Habitual is rumored to hit stores sometime this Spring, any other details concerning the album remain to be seen. In the meantime, we’ll just have to make do with the famously media-shy Carin and Olof Dreijer, who in this teaser can be seen wearing cheap heels and a red wig, as the two swing in slow motion to eerie harmonic noises. Prepare to be both pumped and unnerved.
