Roskilde Festival Announces 2013 Lineup Including Queens Of The Stone Age, C2C, and Daedelus
The Roskilde music festival announced its ticket sale and initial line up for 2013.
The event will include psychedelic heavy weights like Queens of the Stone Age and electronic names such as C2C and Daedelus. Regarding the Queens of the Stone Age pick, music director Rikke Øxner said:
Queens of the Stone Age is a band that both the audience and we have wanted back for long. They really know how to start a rock party on the Orange Stage. From the other end of the genre spectrum, we’re pleased to start early with some electronic announcements.
The French electronic band, C2C, is planning on delivering a set packed with hip-hop, soul and electronic. The event is expected to include performances of up to 200 acts.
Roskilde Festival 2013 will take place June 29 – July 7, 2013. The festival earlier this year saw performances by Bruce Springsteen and The Roots.
UPDATE
With the festival less than 70 days away, all the details have been posted onto the Roskilde website. The festival makes good on it’s promise to showcase nearly 200 bands.
See the official festival poster here for the full lineup. The promoters are so kind as to let you know which country each band hails from as well.

Ticket packages for the festival are still available here. Keep a currency converter handy if you’ll be traveling to Denmark for the fest.
