Sam Spiegel Forms New Band Maximum Hedrum Including Sepultura’s Derrick Green and Musician Harold Faltermeyer, Self-Titled Album Set For March 2013 Release
November 27th, 2012
Sam Spiegel has teamed up with Sepultura’s Derrick Green and German producer Harold Faltermayer to form the super group Maximum Hedrum

They will release their self-titled debut on March 5th, 2013. The group’s use of electronic and funk music can be heard in their single “Synthesize”:
The album will explore the role technology plays in our lives, and as Spiegel explains, “I really wanted to examine the interconnectedness and isolation this shift has brought… and the desperation that fills the Internet.” Fittingly, funk legend George Clinton will appear on Maximum Hedrum’s single that addresses this very issue titled “Keep In Touch.” The song will be in Girl Skateboard’s film Pretty Sweet and can be heard here:
