Black Sabbath Announce New Box Set Black Sabbath: The Vinyl Collection: 1970-1978 For December 2012 Release
Although the 1970’s are long behind us, this doesn’t mean we can’t relive the metal glory days with Black Sabbath. On December 12th, the band will release an exciting box set titled, Black Sabbath: The Vinyl Collection: 1970-1978 in the U.K.
Especially if you aren’t able to fly over to Japan for Ozzfest, as mentioned in a previous mxdwn article, this is the perfect way to relive the band’s legendary career. As reported in Consequence Of Sound, all nine of the albums from this time period, Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master Of Reality, Volume 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage, Technical Ecstasy, Never Say Die, and Live At Last, will be included in 12″ vinyl. Along with this, Master of Reality will come with a poster and Volume 4 will have a photo insert book. Even more goodies include, a 7″ single of the band’s debut track, “Evil Woman”, B-sided with “Wicked World”, and a 12″ square hard-backed book featuring original tour programs from their 1970, 1975, 1976, and 1978 tours. As if all of this isn’t enough, the band is giving away a limited edition print of the box design to 50 fans and each box comes with a download voucher for the entire set. If you can’t wait to get your hands on this box set, pre-orders are available at the Universal UK store.
