Bob Mould Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Fund All-Star Tribute Concert Film Starring Dave Grohl, Ryan Adams, and More

Bob Mould has launched a Kickstarter campaign with the goal of bringing See A Little Light: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Bob Mould all-star tribute concert to the public. This now legendary concert took place at Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Concert Hall on November 21, 2011.


The concert was documented by filmmaker Justin Mitchell and contains footage of the interpretations of Bob’s decades-spanning catalogue of  Hüsker Dü, Sugar, and solo work performed artists such as Dave Grohl, Britt Daniel (Spoon, Divine Fits), Ryan Adams, No Age, Craig Finn and Tad Kubler (The Hold Steady), Margaret Cho with Grant Lee Phillips, and Jessica Dobson (The Shins, Deep Sea Diver)–as well as the rehearsals, preparations, interactions and lead-up to the big show.

The Kickstarter campaign aims to fund the editing, production, packaging and shipping of the film to completion. Contributors will be offered exclusive collectibles including a limited edition 7-inch single, a commemorative T-Shirt, a set of prints, and more.
