Tame Impala @ The Fillmore 11/15

For those wanting a nostalgic night circa late 1960’s/early ’70’s, join Australian band Tame Impala at The Fillmore Nov. 15th. Tame Impala makes psychedelic hypno-groove melodic rock music complete with a vocalist that sounds uncannily like Paul McCartney with John Lennon intonations. Albeit with a fascinatingly fresh spin – mainly due to their compositions – it’s hard to believe this band is actually contemporary. Their second full-length, Lonerism, was released this past October.
