Ian MacKaye’s the Evens Announce New Album The Odds For November 2012 Release
Legendary D.C. label Dischord have two fall releases scheduled from seminal members of the imprint. Included will be a brand new album from Ian MacKaye’s project The Evens.
On November 20, Discord will put out the latest album, The Odds, from The Evens, label co-owner Ian MacKaye’s collaboration with drummer/vocalist Amy Farina.
Prior to that, on October 23, the label will debut a Rites of Spring release, Six Song Demo, that was recorded in the early days of the group at Inner Ear Studios. The band features Guy Picciotto and Brendan Canty who would later join MacKaye in forming Fugazi.
