Looks like Fiona Apple is more than just feelin’ like a criminal right now. Yesterday, the singer-songwriter was arrested in the border city of Sierra Blanca, TX for possession of hashish. Apple is apparently being held at Hudspeth County Jail for the time being.

The recently resurrected bad, bad girl has been on the road in support of her most recent offering, The Idler Wheel. The stop was made while en route from a show in Mesa, AZ to Austin for her Austin City Limits Live appearance scheduled at the Moody Theatre tonight. There is currently no information available on if this will affect tonight’s show or the remainder of the tour.

According to TMZ, this is the exact same place where fellow cannabis-enthusiasts Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg have experienced trouble with the 5-0 in the past.

Check the mug shot below and for more head over to Pitchfork and/or SPIN.

Update: According to TMZ, cops say Apple “freely admitted” the drugs were hers. She spent the night in jail and was released earlier today on $10,000 bond.
