American Laundromat Records are all set to release their Repo Man Soundtrack Tribute on September 18th. In anticipation, they have put out Those Darlins’ cover of Iggy Pop’s “Repo Man” as an exclusive iTunes advance single.

Recorded in the same studio where they completed their latest full length release Screws Get Loose, Those Darlins successfully capture every bit of grit from Iggy’s original adding the fresh perspective of a female voice. This single comes after an already exciting year for the band that has included their first European tour as well as a summer tour with Best Coast with plans for another single due this fall.

The remainder of the tribute sports an excellent roster of groups that includes: Matthew Sweet, Amanda Palmer, Mike Watt, The Tellers, Black Francis, Weekend, Polar Bear Club, Moses Coltrane, New York Rivals, and The Suicide Dolls.
