The lineup for the third annual Moogfest has been announced via AC Entertainment. Taking place the weekend of October 26-27, this festival will feature the “most distinctly invigorating lineup to date,” according to the press release. Favorites Miike Snow and Santigold are scheduled to perform, but another big treats that weekend will be Primus 3D – the first ever “traveling enhanced live musical tour.” Read on for more details and a full lineup.

MoogFest is in celebration of Bob Moog, inventor of the Moog synthesizer, and a respected pioneer for electrical music. The city of Asheville, NC will be the host for the weekend, with several venues open throughout the downtown area. Some well known venues include the U.S. Cellular Center, the Thomas Wolfe auditorium, Asheville Music Hall, the Orange Peel, and the arena, formerly known as the Asheville Civic Center Arena.
