The Melvins Announce Special 51 Tour Release Titled Melvins 1983 Featuring Modified Orignal Lineup
The Melvins announce their new EP, 1983, to coincide with their “50 states + DC” tour. The new EP is four songs featuring the band’s 1983’s original line up of Buzz Osborne (guitars/vocals), Dale Crover (bass), and Mike Dillard (drums).
This is the first release of the modified lineup of The Melvins. The set is a modified version of the band’s lineup from back when they first started in 1983, hence the EP title, 1983. The band has performed this set at different venues in the past. At a gig back in 2011, the band performed the older songs “Walter”, “Forgotten Principles,” “If You Get Bored,” and “Set Me Straight”.
If you are a heavy rock fan, this tour is not one to miss. This is the first time in the band’s 30 year history of performing in Alaska, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Hawaii.
