Lamb of God has been forced to cancel their tour with Dethklok due to singer Randy Blythe still being incarcerated in a Czech prison.8389_lamb-of-god

As previously reported Lamb of God’s frontman Randy Blythe has been arrested and is being held in a Czech prison on charges of manslaughter. He allegedly pushed a fan down at a concert in 2010 who died two years later supposedly due to the injuries. The band paid $400,000 bail but Blythe is still held due to flight risks. Still, they are forced to cancel their headling tour with Dethklok and Gojira.

The band is optimistic that he will be released and feels like the prosecution has a lack of evidence. The fan apparently jumped over the railing three times, the first two times he was stopped by security who pushed him down. Youtube footage of the incident has surfaced which you can see the security pushing the fan down. How can the prosecution prove that the fan’s injuries came from Blythe and not the security guard?

The band issued a statement:

Randy is our brother and we assure you, we are all staying very positive for him, working endlessly behind the scenes to provide any and all assistance possible . . . The best we can do is to stay positive and continue to support our friend that we know is innocent. We know that justice will prevail and we will continue to do our part to support our friend.

We will keep following this story as it develops.
