Richard Hawley has released his new single “Down In The Woods” from his seventh and latest studio album Standing At The Sky’s Edge. Watch the video below.

Hawley wrote the song in reaction to legislation by one of the UK coalition on attempting to sell off ancient woodland. The one time member of Pulp, Arctic Monkeys and The Longpigs has been dominated for various awards and has drawn admiration from peers such as Coldplay, Radiohead and R.E.M over the years.

Standing At The Sky’s Edge is due out August 28th on CD and LP. “Down In The Woods” and the b-side “Kindly Rain” will be released digitally on July 17th.
