Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh and J. Mascis To Perform Together in Special Red Bull Common Thread Event

MusicfestNW will feature consecutive performances of Dinosaur Jr., Sedadoh and J Mascis on September 8 at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregan. The concert’s lineup is part of Red Bull’s Common Thread, an innovative series of shows that will focus on various amalgamations of music groups with shared band members. Red Bull Common Thread recognizes the reality that band members tend to work on independent solo projects with different sounds and aims to unite these related bands together for a concert experience that music fans will be sure to remember.

Common-Thread

Red Bull Common Thread kicks off with the legendary indie band Dinosaur Jr. and associated acts J Mascis (front man J Mascis’ solo project) and Sebadoh (bassist Lou Bralow’s three-piece outfit). These separate but related bands have never performed together back-to-back before. Dinosaur Jr. reunited in 2005 and will also have a new album called I Bet on Sky to be released on September 18^th, 2012.

The concert will take place on September 8, 2012. Doors will open at 8:00 p.m. and the show starts at 9:00 p.m. The show is open to all ages and is $25 in advance or at the door. Buy Tickets
