English rock band Muse are prepping their new album titled The 2nd Law and it has been reported that the single “Survival” will be the official 2012 Olympic Games theme. “Survival” will be played throughout all of the events in London including when the athletes enter the stadium and during the medal ceremonies.

Muse’s Matt Bellamy commented, “It’s a huge honor to have the track chosen as such a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games…I wrote it with the Games in mind as it expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win.”

The song can be streamed on Seattle’s 107.7 The End’s website which can be found here.
