Pendulum Split Up
The band, Pendulum, has unofficially split up. Rob Swire, the front man of the band, announced through twitter that the band has called it quits.
The band released their studio albums in a 10-year career. Their latest album, “Immersion” came out in 2010.
Pedulum also heavily circulated through the festival scene. The band went to more than 30 festivals all around Europe last summer.
Swire announced the news on his official twitter account:
There will be no further Pendulum live shows. There are no current plans for a new album in 2013.
Swire’s new project, Knife Party, is becoming more of his priority:
We’re having too much fun with this project. It’s also great because Pendulum towards the end sort of felt like we were doing it because we had to and that’s never a fun way to do music. Whereas Knife Party is pretty much solely us doing what we want to and if no one likes it we don’t care.
