Stone Sour Announce New Album House of Gold and Bones

The new album by Stone Sour is titled “House of Gold and Bones”, and is a two-part double concept album produced by David Bottrill (Tool, Muse, Staind). It was recorded at Sound Farm Studios, outside of the band’s Des Moines, Iowa home base.

Band vocalist Corey Taylor said Part 1 will have 12 songs which will be released in October through Roadrunner Records. Part 2 will be released in 2013. The concept portion of the album tells half of the story on each disc, with lyrics the fans can search for on the band’s official website. Song titles from the album include “Absolute Zero,” “RU486”, “A Rumor Of Skin” and “Taciturn.”
