Members of Spoon, Wolf Parade and the New Bomb Turks Unite to Form Divine Fits

Spoon frontman Britt Daniel has formed a new band with Wolf Parade guitarist Dan Boeckner and New Bomb Turks drummer Sam Brown called Divine Fits. They are reported working on their yet to be titled debut album with producer Nick Launay. Merge Records in the US will be releasing it later in the year.
Of the three members, only Spoon has been actively performing live and releasing new music. Boeckner has not been as active, with Wolf Parade going on hiatus in 2011 and Handsome Furs, the electro-op band he and his wife Alexei Perry had been doing since 2006 had called it quits.
