Opeth & Mastodon @ Gibson Ampitheatre 4/26
I admit, I’m not a huge metalhead – but I do know enough to realize that the match-up of Opeth and Mastodon on a co-headlining tour is some pretty newsworthy stuff. Opeth has been sending over quality death growls and guitar shredding from their native Stockholm, Sweden for over two decades and Grammy-nominated Mastodon has been dubbed “the greatest metal band of their generation” by none other than music-tastemaker Rolling Stone mag.
Kicking off in Portland, ME, this tour takes these heavy hitters across the nation to a west coast show two weeks from now at the famed Gibson Ampitheatre. Highly lauded buzz band Ghost will be joining as special guest.
