Patrick Watson Announces New Album Adventures In Your Own Backyard for May 2012 Release

Patrick Watson has announced a May 1 release date for his new album, Adventures in Your Own Backyard , out on Domino Records. The album will be released April 16 in his native Canada, continental Europe and Japan. Check out the track list after the jump:

The album was recorded during a 5 year run which saw Watson and bassist Mishka Stein, guitarist Simon Angell and drummer Robbie Kuster tour the world in support of two critically-acclaimed and successful albums, including the Polaris award-winning Close To Paradise. During this time, Patrick also contributed to The Cinematic Orchestra’s 2007 album Ma Fleur, co-writing and singing on a sizeable portion of the record.
