Metallica and Lou Reed Release Full Version of “The View”
Metallica and Lou Reed have already released cover art and a track list of their collaborative effort, Lulu, as well as minute-long teaser snippets of the first single from that album, “The View”. Now, the artists have just released the full version of that track for your listening pleasure.

Metallica headlining at the Big 4 festival in Indio, CA. 23 April 2011.

If YouTube user comments are any way of rating the consumer reaction to a song, it is safe to say that this particular offering has definitely elicited a varying response from fans. Controversy, however is nothing former Velvet Underground singer Lou Reed is stranger too nor the metal titans are stranger to, nor is pushing musical boundaries in ways that are not always expected or anticipated.
