Following the leaked lineup additions earlier this month of Odd Future, X and M83 to this year’s Fun Fun Fun Fest, it was recently revealed that legendary metal act Slayer will be included on the roster.  Check out a video regarding the announcement after the jump.

Fun Fun Fun Fest will run November 4-6 this year at Austin’s Auditorium Shores, which will now presumably run red with the addition of Slayer to this year’s already stellar lineup. Confirmed acts include artists such as Murder City Devils, Okkervil River, Kid Dynamite and Ra Ra Riot.

Slayer is currently in the midst of a co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie that kicked off July 20 in Reading, PA. Scheduled to wrap up on August 6 in Seattle, WA. From there, the band will presumably build up their rage reserves before unleashing an unholy display of fury at their upcoming September Big Four performances at Yankee Stadium.
