American Idol Finale Features Special Musical Performances

Crowning Scott McCreery as the 10th American Idol, the first double digit finale for the talent show also featured a host of special musical performances. Accompanied by Idol runner-ups Judas Priest and Jack Black performed during the finale while Bono and The Edge performed with Reeve Carney.
With James Durbin singing across from Rob Halford, Judas Priest performed two classics from British Steel, “Living After Midnight,” and, “Breaking The Law.” Casey Abrams and Jack Black performed a duet of, “Fat Bottomed Girls.”
Bono and The Edge along with Reeve Carney performed the song, “Rise Above,” from the Broadway show Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.
