Earlier this month we heard about plans made by Arcade Fire to travel to Haiti to record several performances for a live DVD.  Just two weeks after the announcement, they played a secret show, and did just that.  Check out details and exclusive footage after the jump.

The Arcade Fire made their secret, exciting appearance in Haiti on March 28 at Port-au-Prince’s Hotel Oloffson.  The set went for about 45 minutes and included several of their own hits as well as covers of well-known songs by Cyndi Lauper and The Rolling Stones, just to name a few.

Although the original plan was to film the performance and release a Live From Haiti DVD, band manager Scott Rodger reported no DVD in the works.

Arcade Fire Port-au-Prince Secret Show set list:
Who’ll Stop The Rain
Keep The Car Running
The Last Time
Crucified Again
Ocean Of Noise
The Tide Is High
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)
Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out)
Rebellion (Lies)
Haiti
Wake Up

Check out footage from the exclusive performance in Haiti.
