Marnie Stern To Release New LP

Marnie Stern has announced the release of her new LP, Marnie Stern, out October 5th via Kill Rock Stars. Enlisting the talents of Matthew Flegel (Women) and Lars Stalfors (Mars Volta, Funeral Party), Stern has created an album that further cements her as a rising star in today’s progressive music culture. Marnie Stern will reveal a whole new side of her that we may not have seen before. Stern says, “I wanted to pay more attention to the delicate and subtly layered spaces in between sound and just make things louder and fuller where I didn’t on my last 2 records. It’s direct and honest and real. I’m no longer taking cover under guitar lines or yelping vocals.”
