One Day As A Lion–the new experimental collaboration spearheaded by Rage Against the Machine’s Zach de la Rocha and The Mars Volta’s drummer Jon Theodore–have announced two California shows at “undisclosed locations.” More after the jump.

The duo will be joined by Joey Karam, the keyboardist for The Locust, for the two shows in Pomona and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 14 at 12 PM PT and will be available via Will Call only.  All ticket holders will be emailed the venue information at 8:00AM PT day of the show.

These shows will be the project’s first live shows ever, coming several years after their well-received 2008 self-titled EP.

Tour dates and ticket information:

7/17 – Pomona, CA – tickets can be bought here or at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach and The Glasshouse Record Store in Pomona.

7/18 – Los Angeles, CA – tickets can be bought here or at Origami Vinyl in Los Angeles.
