Jay Reatard’s Autopsy Results Are In

The cause of death for Memphis musician Jay Reatard has been revealed through an autopsy. According to The Commercial Appeal, the autopsy showed that “cocaine toxicity and…alcohol [were] a contributing factor in his death.” Born, Jimmy Lee Lindsey, Jr., Reatard died on January 13 at home in his bed. Reatard is known for his 2006 solo debut Blood Visions. His most recent album was 2009’s Watch Me Fall via Matador Records.
